Binnenkijken op Mallorca

Tijdens een fotoshoot op Mallorca met fotograaf Margriet Hoekstra, mochten we binnenkijken op Mallorca in deze opgefriste finca. De nieuwe eigenaren vonden deze parel in een citrusvallei en knapten de bouwval op met locale materialen als keien en metaal. Een frisse, tikkie industriële en toch traditionele woonstijl is het resultaat. Als ze de stalen deuren nu openen, opent de vallei zich voor hen. Vanaf de tafel kijken de bewoners van de gerenoveerde finca uit op de hoogste berg van Mallorca, binnen en buiten vloeien er in elkaar over. Zelfs met de deuren dicht voelt het zwembad nog heel dichtbij. ’s Ochtends als ze wakker worden, kunnen ze via het slaapkamerbalkon en de buitentrap naar beneden om een duik te nemen in het zwembad.

Binnenkijken op Mallorca

During a photo shoot in Majorca with photographer Margriet Hoekstra, we were allowed to visit this refreshed finca. The new owners found this gem in a citrus valley and snapped the ruins with local materials like stones and metal. A fresh, bit industrial yet traditional living style is the result. If they open the steel doors, the valley opens up for them. Even with the doors closed the pool still feels very close. In the morning when they wake up, they can go down through the bedroom balcony and the external staircase to take a dip in the pool.
